On Freed Pond...

Since I have been accused of being a prematurely 90 year old woman due to my delight in Sunset magazine, antiquing, home gardening, and food processing, I thought I would bust into the 21st century with a blog documenting some of my oft requested vegetarian recipes, craft projects, and domestic adventures. That being said, I am an amateur. I make things up as I go, pull most of my recipes from the internet or The Joy of Cooking, and had a horribly unsuccessful garden last year save an overabundance of cherry tomatoes and a little bit of bug infested basil. I am addicted to buying furniture, particularly items from second hand stores or the Sunday market, which often leads to inconsistent decorating choices and my constant attempts to give away old stuff to unsuspecting friends. I don't have a clue how to sew; however, I do own a sewing machine which explains why my curtains are about 6 inches too short. Really. I didn't know they were going to shrink that much. Now that we have that out of the way, enjoy the blog.

  1. When you strike it rich, I expect a royalty check for the title of this post. That being said, bring forth some hot homebrewed action!

  2. hahaha. I knew you would find me here. And when you did, you could smile at your clever suggestion.
