The best crab

We spent a nice little getaway weekend in Anacortes so I don't have any new projects for you, but I do have a DELICIOUS crab recipe. I am a seafood lover through and through, but this might be the best whole crab recipe I have tried.

Garlic Roasted Dungeness Crab

2 cooked Dungeness crabs, cleaned and cracked
1/3 cup melted butter
3 tablespoons fresh minced garlic
dash salt & pepper to taste
fresh squeezed lemon juice to taste

Heat oven to 500. Combine ingredients (minus the crab) in small bowl. Place the crabs in a large bowl and drizzle with garlic butter mixture. Make sure the crab legs have enough cracks to absorb some of the mixture. Place crabs on a large baking pan (you can cover the pan with tinfoil first to help with clean-up). Roast for 6 minutes, remove and drizzle additional garlic butter mixture, then put back in the oven for 5-6 more minutes.

Sooooo good. Sorry I don't have pictures, but take my word that it both looked and tasted delicious. Eat the crab with a bottle of chilled white wine, and then have some berry pie for dessert. Done, done, and done!
